This privacy policy describes how OGM Administrator handles personal data collected through the website of One Great Match.

What data we may collect

  • Contact details submitted by the user, such as name, email, and city.
  • Information about the sport played and playing frequency.
  • Reasons for joining Early Access and willingness to provide feedback.

  • Manage requests to access the Early Access.
  • Contact users interested in trying the product.
  • Assess the fit between the Early Access program and frequent-player profiles.
  • Improve the product based on the feedback received.

Legal basis

The main intended legal basis is the user's consent when submitting the interest form and, where applicable, the application of pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request.

Retention

Data will be retained while there is a legitimate interest in managing the access request and maintaining communication related to Early Access, or until the user requests deletion.

Recipients

Data may be processed in operational tools needed to run the website and manage the sign-up form, including first-party systems configured by the controller. Audience measurement is handled through a self-hosted first-party analytics setup operated for One Great Match rather than through a separate third-party analytics service, in order to increase user privacy.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website is designed to avoid non-essential cookies. It currently uses the following browser-side storage and external resources:

  • No analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking cookies are intentionally deployed on the public website.
  • The site may use first-party, self-hosted audience measurement, configured without analytics cookies and with browser Do Not Track respected, to understand visits and key waitlist interactions.
  • If the user actively switches language, the site stores that preference in localStorage so the chosen language can be remembered on later visits.
  • The site avoids loading the Early Access form only after interaction; the first-party enrollment endpoint is contacted only when the user submits the access request.

External services and international transfers

The website no longer depends on Google-hosted fonts for page rendering. For audience measurement, One Great Match uses a self-hosted analytics setup exposed through first-party paths to increase user privacy, so this analytics stream is not sent to a separate third-party analytics platform. If the Early Access form is submitted, the browser connects to One Great Match first-party endpoints to deliver the request.

Rights

Users may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability by writing to privacy@onegreatmatch.com. They may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if they believe the processing does not comply with applicable law.

Updates

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the product, operations, or applicable legal obligations.

Users who want to exclude their own visits from audience measurement can open the browser console on this site and run localStorage.setItem("umami.disabled", "1"). To re-enable measurement later, they can run localStorage.removeItem("umami.disabled").
